The U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Bengaluru has announced openings for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate-I (RA-I) positions. The application window is open from March 22, 2025, to April 20, 2025.

Available Positions:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 20 vacancies

  • Research Associate-I (RA-I): 2 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Applicants must hold an M.Sc., M.E., or M.Tech. degree in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. Additionally, candidates should have qualified in NET or GATE examinations.

  • Research Associate-I (RA-I): Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in a pertinent field or an M.E./M.Tech. degree with at least three years of research experience and at least one publication in an SCI journal.

Age Limit (as of April 20, 2025):

  • JRF: Maximum 28 years

  • RA-I: Maximum 35 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years

  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years

  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India norms

Selection Process:

  1. Screening based on academic performance and experience
